🟣 The National Agency of State Property and Big Service signed a land title transfer contract on May 27, 2019. The state instructed the company to build and operate an electric car factory within two years after the transfer of the title on the land, and to employ 300 people within one year.

🟣 If the Georgian government is to be believed, now the Kutaisi electric vehicle factory should be producing 40,000 cars a year.

🕵 Three years ago, in April, Mamuka Bakhtadze, then Prime Minister of Georgia, made this promise to the public.

‼ Even the Kutaisi residents have no idea about the fate of the promised factory.

Why the electric vehicle factory is not humming in Kutaisi? Only wind greeted us upon arrival, and we found two small white buildings and some iron pipes stacked around them. Even the locals have not heard anything.
