Tucked behind unassuming walls in Luang Prabang, Satri House is less hotel, more reverie. Once home to a Lao prince, now a haven of vintage fans, handwoven silks, and the occasional monk passing by at dawn.

It’s here, in the slow swirl of incense and lemongrass, that my story from Laos begins—off-leash, a little softer around the edges, but no less full of wonder.
