Today I need to just stop! I’m absolutely rubbish at it - especially when my to do list(s) and inboxes are overflowing! But…I know that if I can take a day to pause and give myself permission to rest I’ll have more energy to get started on the lists and emails tomorrow.
I’ve learnt a lot about myself in the last few years and what I need to recharge! I used to think it meant actually doing nothing but that doesn’t really work for me (but it might for you and that’s great!) - instead for me it’s reading, starting with this pile of magazines, cooking nice different things, a long walk exploring somewhere new, yoga, family board games and movie time later.
It isn’t unpacking house move boxes, setting up utilities, changing address stuff, working, organising, tidying, watching Tv I don’t have any interest in, scrolling my phone, and most importantly it’s absolutely not giving myself a hard time for “not doing enough” !
What do you need to recharge???

If Ann Frank can believe this surely so can I - but wow it’s hard sometimes 💓
I know when I do believe this my life feels better, I’m calmer, less anxious, more positive - all things that are good for my physical and mental health!
