If you're not busy on Wednesday afternoon, come along to Lyppard Community Centre for a fascinating talk on Tudor and Stuart Medicine - "Unusual Cures and Blood Galore", by John Moore Museum's speaker, Angela Dunsby. Non-Worcester u3a members are welcome and there is no charge. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits will be served. Doors open at 1.30pm.

⏰️ Our next open meeting will be on Wednesday, 12th November at Woodgreen Church, Hastings Drive, WR4, starting at 2pm. There will be a fascinating talk by Philip Bowen on the 17th Century bishops of Worcester. Woodgreen Church, starting at 2pm. Refreshments served and no charge.
Here's an interesting historical fact.. Bishop of Worcester & Gloucester, John Hooper, shown below, was executed for heresy, by burning, in Gloucester, during the reign of Queen (bloody) Mary. Come along to Woodgreen Church on Wednesday to find out more! All welcome.
