We’ve teamed up with Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance to launch Stafford Rocks – a colourful way to spread awareness and brighten up our community!

🎨 We’ve hidden hand-painted rocks featuring the Gold Ribbon around Stafford.

Welcome to Stafford Rocks! 🎨

This community project is all about spreading smiles through creativity. We invite you to paint, hide, find, and re-hide rocks - bringing a little joy to someone's day, one rock at a time.

Stafford Rocks is a collaboration between Nowell Meller Solicitors and the Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance (CCPA)

Yesterday, Nowell Meller hosted a special rock-painting workshop at CCPA with some of the amazing families supported by the charity. It was a fantastic morning filled with colour, creativity, and community spirit. The rocks painted during the session are now ready to be hidden around Stafford (and further afield too!) so keep your eyes peeled!

Each rock features a Gold Ribbon, symbolising something very important: September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re encouraging everyone to help us spread awareness . If you find one of our rocks with a gold ribbon, please share a photo on Facebook and tag this page! 📷

Based in Stafford, CCPA provides outstanding support to families affected by childhood cancer - through diagnosis, treatment, and beyond. Their work supports the whole family, including siblings, parents, and grandparents, with services such as:

Days out and family events
Group meetups and wellbeing sessions
Online support and creative therapies
A vibrant family room decorated with bold superhero murals - reflecting the courage and strength of the families they support


At the heart of CCPA is the strong, personal connection they build with each family.
