Georgia Rowley Coaching
For years, I tried to manage the symptoms through massages, chiropractors, osteopaths, changing up my training completely…. but nothing seemed to help long term. I was getting some temporary relief, but no real understanding of WHY I was experiencing the pain in the first place.
Working with Alexandra at Mindly Body was different. She took the time to assess my body as a whole, helping me understand the root cause of my neck and back pain and what I can do to support long-term recovery, rather than just chasing short-term fixes.
It’s reinforced something I believe strongly in through my own work as a health and wellbeing practitioner, therapist, and while training as a PT: lasting change comes from looking at the bigger picture (ALWAYS).
Whether it’s our physical health, mental health, or lifestyle habits, sustainable change happens when we feel supported, understood, and empowered to address the underlying causes, rather than simply managing the symptoms.
So often, we’re offered quick fixes… (yep) another prescription, painkillers to get us through the day, temporary treatments that provide short-term relief, or advice that only scratches the surface (then you wish you’d never said anything or opened up in the first place) 😔.
Whilst these approaches can have their place, real and lasting change often comes from understanding ‘WHY’ the problem exists in the first place (the advice that often means more knowledge, time, and effort).
What I truly believe is that wellbeing is about creating a healthier life as we age, in both mind and body. ✨
It’s never too late to start. But why wait until pain (emotionally and physically) become impossible to ignore before making your health a priority? 💕
