This week is Loneliness Awareness Week and Mens Mental Health Week, and it’s a good reminder that staying connected can make a real difference to people’s wellbeing.

Earlier this year, our nephew completed an incredible run from Herne Bay to Paris in support of Mind, raising awareness for mental health and the importance of not facing things alone.

As a local business, Midkent IT Solutions was proud to support him.

AI scam warning — please be careful online

Scammers are now using realistic-looking AI videos, fake adverts and cloned websites to trick people into clicking links, entering passwords or making payments.

Before clicking on anything suspicious, check:

✅ Is the website address exactly right?
✅ Is the offer too good to be true?
✅ Are they rushing you to act quickly?
✅ Did you find the website yourself, or were you sent there by a link?
✅ Are they asking for card details, bank transfer or login details?

If something feels wrong, stop before entering any information.
