We recently came across a list of wedding facts that really made us smile, so we wanted to share just a handful of them with you.

• 52 songs is the ideal playlist for a three-hour party
• The largest wedding attendance was a Jewish wedding in Jerusalem in 1993 where 30,000 attended
• A Malaysian man holds the record for being the best man at over 1000 weddings
• The longest dress was found in Germany with a length of 515 feet
• The most expensive wedding cost over £22 million and was held in a purpose built stadium in Dubai

• Elton John once charged £2 million to secure him singing at a wedding

👗 Multiple bridal looks
Many brides are choosing outfit changes: one for the ceremony, another for the evening, and a fun look for dancing.

We know that picking the right suppliers for your wedding can be difficult, so we wanted to share with you our top tips!

• Know your budget - it is easy to let this get out of control, but if you can keep your budget in mind, this will ensure you don't end up disappointed.

• Decide your vision - have a clear idea in your mind of what kind of look you want to achieve - finding suppliers that can compliment this will ensure you achieve the look you want.

• Consider your suppliers style - as above, find suppliers that match your style or at least are amenable to working to your style.

• Get recommendations - never be afraid to ask for reviews - even better if they come as a personal recommendation!

• See a portfolio - ask to see photographs of work that your suppliers have done to ensure that the quality and look is what you're after.

• Arrange a meeting - your wedding suppliers will be spending most of your wedding day with you, so meeting them before-hand an easy way to check you get along.

• Do they know your venue - this isn't necessarily a deal breaker, but if they do, it can make the operations on the day that bit easier and they'll know the best spots for good photos!

• Book an engagement shoot - if they tick all the boxes above, why not book an engagement shoot to see how it goes?
