The specials board has been freshly written for Father's Day, and the kitchen has put something lovely together.

On the board this week:

Mussels in a white wine, cream and garlic sauce.

Buffalo mozzarella with cherry tomato and fresh basil.

Summer pasta with cherry tomatoes, basil, extra virgin olive oil and burrata.

Pesto pasta with burrata and crispy parma ham.

The Pizza Ivano, with garlic butter, goats cheese, gorgonzola, rocket, walnut, onion and hot honey, named after the man himself who is far too proud of it.
And a crisp New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc to pour.

This Father's Day, every dad is looked after. Say the secret word Papà when you are here and his first drink is on the house, Prosecco, wine, a cold beer or a soft drink, whatever he fancies.

Next Sunday is Father’s Day, and we’re ready to celebrate all the dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures, and legends who make every table feel a little more like home.

Bring him to Rustico for a proper Sunday treat: good food, good company, and absolutely no washing up.

To make the day even sweeter, we have a little Italian surprise for him 🇮🇹

Just one little warning… it’s Papà, with the accent at the end.

Say Papa instead and you might accidentally call the Pope, and we are not quite ready for a visit from His Holiness just yet. 😄

The sky is doing its thing today but we are open at 12 and the new specials board is worth getting to Rustico for.

This week we are running a Caprese Salad, King Prawns in Garlic and a Burrata Bombe to start.

For mains, a Pasta Carbonara, a Beef Short Rib Ragu.

And after so many of your requests, the Pizza Ivano is back. Named after our authentic Apulian Italian who runs our socials and writes posts like this one. We are just saying. Garlic butter base, gorgonzola, goats cheese, walnuts, onion, rocket and hot honey.
