Fear Not, For God Has Empowered You

Text: Jeremiah 1:8–10

“Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.” (Jeremiah 1:8–10, KJV)

Message

God’s call upon your life is greater than every fear, opposition, limitation, and challenge before you. When God called Jeremiah, He knew Jeremiah would face resistance, criticism, and powerful enemies. Yet God’s first instruction was not about strategy—it was “Be not afraid.”

Fear is often the greatest enemy of destiny. It causes people to doubt God’s promises and shrink back from their assignment. But God assured Jeremiah, “I am with thee to deliver thee.” The same God who calls you is the God who protects, strengthens, and delivers you.

When God touched Jeremiah’s mouth, He was showing that divine assignment comes with divine empowerment. God does not merely send people; He equips them. Whatever God has called you to do, He has already supplied the grace, wisdom, strength, and authority needed to accomplish it.

Verse 10 reveals the power of God’s word. Before building comes the pulling down of every obstacle. Before planting comes the uprooting of every evil foundation. God gives His people authority to break barriers, destroy limitations, and establish His purposes.

Today, refuse fear. God is with you. His hand is upon you. His words are in your mouth. What He has ordained for your life shall come to pass.

Declaration

I declare that I will not be afraid, for the Lord is with me to deliver me.

The hand of God is upon my life, and He has filled my mouth with His words.

Every power resisting my destiny is uprooted and pulled down.

Every limitation, delay, disappointment, and setback is destroyed in the name of Jesus.

I am empowered by God to build, to plant, to prosper, and to fulfill my divine purpose.

Doors of favour are opening before me.

My family, career, ministry, and future are established by the power of God.

I walk in boldness, wisdom, victory, and divine authority.

No weapon formed against me shall prosper.

The Lord who called me shall preserve me, promote me, and perfect all that concerns me.

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your promise in Jeremiah 1:8–10. I receive Your word today and reject every spirit of fear, intimidation, and discouragement. Fill me with courage and confidence to walk in the purpose You have ordained for my life.

Lord, touch my mouth as You touched Jeremiah’s mouth. Let my words carry wisdom, grace, power, and truth. Let every negative voice against my destiny be silenced.

Father, uproot every evil foundation, destroy every obstacle, and pull down every stronghold standing against my progress. Build within me a life that glorifies You and plant me in the place of Your divine favour.

Go before me and make every crooked path straight. Deliver me from every trap of the enemy and surround me with Your protection.

I declare that I shall fulfill my destiny, accomplish my assignment, and walk in victory because You are with me.

Everything works to my favor. Even in moments of uncertainty, I know the universe is guiding me toward the best possible outcomes.

Every delay, every detour, every challenge is a setup for something greater.

I attract blessings, opportunities and breakthroughs effortlessly.

What is meant for me will always find me and I trust that all things both seen and unseen are aligning perfectly for my success, peace and abundance.

I am a magnet for wealth, and abundance flows to me effortlessly from multiple streams. My health is my greatest asset. My body is strong, my mind is sharp, my spirit is unshakable. Money comes to me in expected and unexpected ways. I am financially free. I am building generational wealth. My children’s children will eat from the trees I plant today.
