Whilst we had hoped that we could run sports day with some light rain the forecast is now thundery showers and it would therefore not be safe to continue as planned. Sports day will now take place on Monday 15 June.

Sports Day has been moved to Tuesday 9 June

Pupils should come to school in their PE kit and make sure they’re dressed for whatever the weather brings ☀️🌧️ (think water bottles, hats, or an extra layer just in case!).

🌟 Investing in Leadership & Team Culture at Perth Grammar School 🌟

As part of our ongoing leadership development, members of the Extended Leadership Team at Perth Grammar School took part in a Courageous Teams session this week.

The focus of the session was psychological safety within our teams — exploring how we create environments where colleagues feel confident to speak up, share ideas, challenge constructively, and be their authentic selves.

It was a valuable opportunity to reflect, have honest conversations, and strengthen the trust that underpins effective teamwork.

What a fantastic Primary 7 Transition Evening at Perth Grammar School! It was brilliant meeting all the new S1s and their families. We had such a great time getting to know everyone and showing them around. We can’t wait to welcome you for your transition days next week.

Senior Sports Heats will take place tomorrow (Friday 5 June) from break onwards. This is an opt in event for any new S5/S6 who would like to participate in athletics events to try and win Senior Sports Champion.

Pupils who would like to participate should go straight to PE after break tomorrow, dress for the weather! 🌥️☁️

Whilst the kids might be counting down the days until the , many parents, carers and guardians will already be looking ahead to August and feeling a familiar knot in their stomach.

Even before you add in shoes, school bags, PE kit and all the other essentials, getting children ready for the new school year can place a huge strain on already stretched .

Our wonderful friends at Social Flock have now opened applications for their **2026 **, helping children and across Perth and Kinross return to school feeling confident, comfortable and ready to learn.

This year, Social Flock hopes to support **1,000 school pupils and 200 nursery children**, but applications are expected to come in thick and fast.

⚽🎉 World Cup Sweepstake Draw – Results Are In! 🎉⚽

The Perth Grammar School House sweepstake draw has been made — good luck to all! 🌍🏆 Flags are now proudly displayed across the school and in the Maths corridor to celebrate the global competition.

House points will be up for grabs throughout the tournament as teams progress, so everything to play for. A great example of numeracy in action as we track results, scores and standings along the way! 📊📈
