YoMi Tree

I loved this poem before I had children, in my early days of teaching. I thought I would always be the parent who didn’t look back with regret, but did all those things in the poem like some amazing Earth Mother (oh the innocence of youth 😂).

In these challenging times however, we have the opportunity to spend more quality time with our children than ever. It’s easy to get caught up in the mundane, routine of life and to look at what we don’t have right now, but if we can flip our thoughts and look for opportunities instead, we could use this time wisely to connect, build relationships and to focus on the power of love.
