This piece is part of a project I have been working on since last year. The aim has been to modernise and breathe new life into a series of linoprints that I created just over 10 years ago, by digitally reworking the original artwork. Removing the watercolour background and adding a bold, single colour  sky, along with altering the composition and adding a crisp boarder has helped to simplify the design and push the subject matter into the foreground. Meet Frank, the adorable Black Lab. Finished this commission last year, but been too busy to make a post.
Frank was printed using 2 lino blocks, Black, Red and Yellow printing ink, and a whole lotta love.
