⚙️ FINOS Open Source in Finance Forum 2026 ⚙️
Last week, First Derivative and B 2 Bits came together as part of the EPAM Financial Services family, proudly sponsoring and attending the FINOS Open Source in Finance Forum (OSFF) 2026. And what a combined force it was!
Taking shelter from the London heatwave, it was great to see Grant Haley and Chris Rayner (ISLA) demonstrate how FIX → CDM → DRR can work together across the trade lifecycle to simplify regulatory reporting and drive greater interoperability.
It was also great to hear Sergio Sisternes share how organisations can industrialise and scale AI agents through APM, showcasing what's possible when governance, reusable components, and production-ready AI come together.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make such a successful event. It's always a pleasure to connect with colleagues, partners, and the wider open-source finance community.

On Wednesday 24 June, members of the First Derivative team attended the DCU Global Finance Challenge Final.
The students showcased the results of a year of dedication, collaboration and innovation.
It was fantastic to see the high standard of presentations and the talent on display, with each team demonstrating strong analytical thinking, creativity and confidence as they presented their projects.
