Did you know that the world’s very first writers weren’t poets, novelists, or even songwriters? They were actually accountants! 🧾
Some of the earliest known writing in human history dates back over 5,000 years to ancient Mesopotamia, and it isn't a story or a play. It’s a series of accounting records scratched into clay tablets, tracking things like beer rations, livestock, and grain. 🏺
Basically, the first thing humanity decided was worth writing down was a receipt!
