As a consequence of the delays which have been experienced over the past several months by people with disabilities attempting to obtain support from the DWP's Access To Work scheme, we are asking all of our clients, colleagues, employees, and partner agencies to please consider signing the petition linked below.
Through no fault of their own, people with disabilities are being prevented from obtaining and retaining employment by problems and delays over which they have no control.
We want to see people with disabilities given the same opportunities as their peers and colleagues, and so we are supporting the drive for change in this petition and asking the government to ensure the smooth operation of the systems in place in order that people with disabilities are on an equal footing and have the same access to resources and opportunities as everyone else.

Petition: Take action to improve waiting times for access to work applications Some people with disabilities are waiting over 6-months for Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) to contact them to discuss the support they need to obtain or stay in paid work or set-up their own businesses.
