Inspired by the AHRC research project INTO THE FOREST, led by Dr Eleanor Barraclough, ANIMAL was created for the Cheriton Light Festival.

Blending immersive projection with experimental psychoacoustics, the work invited audiences on a journey from the modern world back to the Mesolithic landscape at the end of the last Ice Age. Inspired by Dr Barraclough's research and podcasts, ANIMAL explored our enduring relationship with the natural world through light, sound, and storytelling.

A project where history, science, and art came together to create a truly immersive experience. 🌲✨ See more of our work at: https://theprojectionstudio.com/

Projection is about more than creating something beautiful. It's about creating something meaningful. ✨

Every project begins with a story. Through light, sound, and movement, we transform spaces into places where history is rediscovered, ideas are shared, and communities come together.

Whether we're illuminating a historic landmark, celebrating a cultural event, or bringing research to life, our goal is always the same: to create experiences that connect people, spark conversation, and leave a lasting impression.

Because the most memorable projections aren't just seen, they're shared. Find out more at: https://theprojectionstudio.com/
