ASM - Powering Smarter Security

Today we want to introduce Tim Morgan who plays an integral role of Service Engineer, and share his ASM journey with you.

Before joining us in 2023, Tim had previously been teaching drums, but realised he wanted to do something a bit different – although still hands on! Inspired by his brother, he completed a BTEC course and we were excited to welcome him into the ASM team and help him develop as an engineer.

Tim enjoyed getting stuck in immediately, and said “As part of a small team, you get to go out in your first few weeks with another engineer on a lot of jobs. It’s great to see so much in those early stages, and it helped me to pick up the basics really quickly, preparing me to confidently go out on my own earlier than I’d expected.”

'Tis the season to get a little competitive, and we certainly did that at our Christmas party at Fairgame last week! 🎄

Our friends at Shire Counties Concrete Pumping LTD recently had some unusual and unwanted visitors around their property and yard area! 👀👤

With thousands of pounds of plant machinery and recent rural crime being so high in the area, they thought it best to reach out to ASM about adding an extra layer of security to the site. Within a week, we installed a new CCTV system to provide cover of the property along with recording and notification via smart devices.

With September nearly over we have a few successful local projects we’d like to share with you this week! 🙌

At ASM we are always committed to supporting our local community, especially when it impacts younger children. When one of our engineers shared that the school his children attend and wife works at, Drayton Primary School, had recently been targeted by thieves we were shocked.

We discovered that the school unfortunately had multiple new laptops and tablets stolen, so we offered to carry out a routine survey to see how we might be able to help. We’ve now installed a new CCTV system with 4 cameras covering the entire perimeter, recording locally and accessible on all smart devices via the application. 👀
