It is not enough to set up a LinkedIn page.
Everybody can open an account and a bio. Well, some 😁
But optimising and growing the page is, that’s where the hard part comes in.
You think, “Oh well, I’ll post tomorrow when I am on the train to Waterloo.
Oh, wait, I can ask Natasha from our Customer Service to scribble a few words between phone calls.”
I am going to cry now, no, seriously 😭

How to stop LinkedIn creating messy auto-burned-in captions on your video reel🎥

You create a neat and elegant reel, excited to hit publish. Only to discover it’s now cluttered with autogenerated, double captions.

Now back to “How to remove auto-burned-in captions” moving forward:
Step 1 → Look for the “Captions” icon when uploading
Step 2 → Find the toggle for “Add auto captions automatically”
Step 3 → Switch this OFF before you publish
Bonus hack → If you missed this during upload, you can still edit your video post:
Step 1 → Click the three dots (the “More” icon) on your published post
Step 2 → Select “Edit Captions”
Step 3 → Choose “Hide all captions” or remove auto captions
Clean video reels at last.
