The brief was simple: “Storage on wheels.”

A piece for the kitchen that could move freely, but feel completely at home in the space.

We tied it back to the existing oak dining table - same material, same warmth - so it felt considered rather than added on.

Oak veneer MDF, but with reeded oak doors to elevate a simple form.

Finished in Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C – Natural, adding protection and a soft cream undertone.

We also sanded back and re-oiled the dining table, bringing both pieces into alignment — old and new, working together.

Painted in Bone China Blue, this kids’ room wardrobe sits quietly in the corner — even at an impressive 2.7 metres tall.

Hard to believe this was once crumbling plaster, exposed rafters and a tired old fireplace. Now it’s a bright, peaceful bedroom with fitted storage that makes the most of every inch.
