'The Fischer-Z X-Ray Serenade Summer single symbolises the contemporary and historic relevance of the band at 50th anniversary. The title track (which is not on the upcoming album of the same name) represents a modern form of John Watts’ art. It is poetry set to a hypnotic groove and describes the crazy 2026 world in everyday words and surreal images. In contrast X-Ray Serenade is complimented by two new recordings of Fischer-Z’s iconic So Long track - The first a Re-imagined studio version by the current band, the second a solo version by John.'
