Falling Doves
This venue means everything to musicians…
Playing Rough Trade carries history. So many artists we admire stood in that same space. When you’re there, you’re aware you’re part of something bigger than yourself, even if just for one night. It’s humbling. It makes you want to give absolutely everything you’ve got — and that’s what we tried to do.
We ran out of vinyl instantly…
We brought vinyl for the show and it completely sold out — way faster than we expected. And then our manufacturer ran out too. Which is a beautiful problem to have, but also stressful when fans want records and you literally don’t have them. But honestly, it showed us how much people care about physical music. Holding something real still matters. That’s why we’re planning another vinyl release night soon — because that demand deserves another experience. We almost didn’t make this show…
Last fall we were invited to play Rough Trade in Liverpool, and honestly it felt surreal. That’s one of those legendary spaces you hear about your whole life as a musician. Walking in, seeing the records on the walls, the crowd forming — it hit me that this was a real milestone for us. Nights like that remind you why you start a band. Not for algorithms… not for hype… but for real human connection in a room with music happening live. That night was one of those moments I’ll always carry with me.
We weren’t alone that night…
Sharing the stage with other great bands made the night even stronger. Live music is community — not competition. Everyone brought their own sound and together it created something bigger than any one act. We’re really grateful to every artist who played with us.
