In the interest of hopefully inspiring someone and sharing how great working with Conor was, I wanted to show y’all the unhinged idea board I made and sent to asking if he’d help me put together our album art.. you can see where some of the ideas were headed, where I was just losing my mind a little bit and probably how anti generative AI I was becoming. I’m very grateful that Conor, rather than to take it fully out of my hands like I was pleading for him to do, took up the mantle and volunteered his time to schedule zoom meetings and collaborate. It was his idea for him to create those glitches that are all over the final art and to send them to me to mess with and see where it went. not pictured here are the many hours I spent agonizing about art ideas and bugging (who did some sketches with their finger on an ipad I really like and will share later if they say I can) and also not pictured are ’s 2 large scale attempts at painting something we both liked that I ultimately rejected bc I can be very needy and difficult .. will also share those later if he’s down with it. (sorry for spilling paint in your garage btw). Anyway, I wanted to share bc well maybe it’ll inspire someone else who is stoned and crying for some reason in front of a computer screen chock full of a weird mish mash of ideas. And to say thank you to my friends for being there. There’s a lot of ways the imagery could have gone, it’s difficult not to think about it when you’ve gotten so much good and heartfelt input. I think we’re all pretty happy with the final result
