I was asked on an application what makes a script have a positive impact on an audience.

I replied:

"The characters have to have depth. You need to have developed them fully before you wrote any dialogue for them otherwise they're going to be flat. The audience has be able to relate in someway, whether they find themselves in the character, or they want to find themselves in that character. It's all about depth and relatability for me." - Ivy
