I had a fantastic time today hosting a Beginners Linocut workshop in the beautiful workshop spaces in .

We explored the different marks that can be made with various blades for the classic red multi tool on soft cut and test printed so we can see how those marks translate in print. Then we moved onto our designs which we carved and printed a small edition of prints.

There were various tools available to help print from such as a paper folding bone, wooden spoon, a multi tool barren and ball bearing barren.
Although small this workshop was so wholesome and everyone left with a sense of calm and achievement (or so they said.)

Tools, softcut lino and inks (most of the inks)
