What a fantastic day on Thursday with author Eliza Morton visiting our libraries during Literature Fest.

Eliza spent the morning in Stockbridge Village before heading to Prescot in the afternoon. Both sessions were well attend despite the hot weather. She had so much to share about her writing, inspiration, and journey as an author, and answered everyone's wonderful questions.

A huge thank you to Eliza for such an enjoyable visit, and to everyone who came along to support the events. We hope you all left feeling inspired to pick up your next read.

Last night we had Murder in the Bookshelves!

Crime authors T.M Payne, Sarah Moorhead and Sean Watkin joined us in Huyton Library for a wonderful night filled with hilarity, banter and stories! We all had really good fun listening to how they launched their careers, their methods for writing and what they do in their free time amongst much much more!

A big thank you to Tina, Sarah and Sean for a great evening, and a big thank you to everyone who was able to make it in the (extremely!) hot weather ☀️
