Replaced some downlights for a customer in as part of wider works to the property. The older downlights were not installed well - no earth continuity (not connected!) and single insulated cable showing. Re-fitted new Luceco F-Type Fire Rated downlights with chrome bezels. Much better finish, correctly installed, and safer!

Random junction box in a wall found whilst doing some remedial works to a property in . Found a cable that wasn't supposed to be live, but was, held together in the wall with insulation tape! Made safe, removed redundant wiring, and re-terminated into a new . Done as part of wider works at the property.

Attended a fault-find for a customer in . Customer could smell something "odd" and some sockets stopped working. Found a burned out washing machine switch and charred wires. Replaced the switched, capped off an un-used spur, and replaced the wire feeding the spur. Ensured all connections were tight, and tested OK at each socket.

Don't wait for the worst to happen, if you smell anything bad or have tripping sockets - call me!

Moving a light switch for a customer in . Lighting cables went underfloor, jointed into existing wiring with a Wagobox Lite, tested, Minor Works Cert issued. Combination of calculated and measured readings obtained.
