Hello all! I’m sorry for the lack of updates… In all honesty nothing has really changed in terms of starting up again.

However I have hope that I’ll be able to run outdoor mini tours in the summer holidays.. I’m just sorting out the details.

I have also made the rather sad decision that I will not be restarting ‘normal’ weekly classes in September. After such a difficult 18 months I really need some financial stability and so have taken a maternity teaching cover. I’m hoping that I’ll still do some pop up sessions and so will leave this page open for updates!

Go Past Goonhilly Earth Station on your right, at the next crossroads turn left sign posted Helford and Manaccan, then take first right and follow lane over 2 cattle grids. Camel Centre is on your right.

Firstly I just want to say that my priority over finally having some fun with the children is covid safety. I test twice a week and will test on Friday morning. If you have any symptoms please please do not come.

Please arrive in time to register, pay, check in with the covid QR code and grab yourself something yummy from the takeaway café.

Please bring a mask; you’ll be asked to wear it just for the café area, toilets and whilst we sing. I’ll provide hand sanitizer and will ask everyone to use it on arrival

Payment- we don’t have very good internet access at the venue usually so unfortunately you will need to pay cash. To avoid too much swapping of money could you please bring as much change as you can ( I know real money seems a thing of the past theses days!). I will be using Dettol spray on any money handed in so hopefully I’ve got any possible spread of infection covered here!!

The fee is £5 per child irrespective of age and adults are free.

The café prices
Hot drinks £1.00, squash 50p,cakes £1.50 and Easter cupcakes £1.00.
Preordered loaf cakes £4.50

Please bring with you your own reusable drinks container as there will be limited takeaway cups ( lots of people bring Tupperware to take some cakes home in to!).

We will take an Easter walk around the farm, it could be muddy so please be prepared. Ideally we can spread adults out and stick to 2m as much as possible.

Music session. I cannot provide any props so if you can please bring a musical instrument, scarf (tea towels will do) and something to shake ( musical shaker/pom-poms/ homemade shaker- there is a video on my page of how to do this!)

You’ll also need something to sit on- cushion in a plastic bag, picnic rug etc ( again I can’t supply my usual carpet tiles)

We have toilet and changing facilities available.

At the end of the session we will walk back to the carpark (where café located) and you’ll be given takeaway craft.

I am very aware that this is not how I usually do it but I can promise lots of fun in a covid safe way.

I do have a couple of spaces free on a first come first served basis.

I’m planning the cakes for next weeks mini Easter tour.... would anyone be interested if I made and sold some whole cakes? Thinking loaf cakes as easiest to transport. Chocolate( with mini eggs)/lemon drizzle/lime and coconut/coffee and walnut. They would be £4.50 each and I’d need them to be preordered by Wednesday at very latest.

EASTER MINI TOUR

The venue ( Cornish camel centre) is all booked, I have a track and trace QR code in place and ready to go and each session will have no more than 14 over 5’s ( plus me).

This event is outside (egg trail) with a under cover ( but open sided) area for music session. Unfortunately no equipment will be shared so I will write a suggested list of things you could bring to join in with nearer the time!

There will be a takeaway cafe serving hot drinks and cakes, to keep waste to a minimum we would love it if you could bring your own reusable mugs. ( These will be placed onto a tray and not touched by anyone but you!)

More information will follow but if you have messaged directly or commented on the post and I have liked or loved it then I have you booked on. Prior to the event if you have had any COVID-19 symptoms please please do not come.

As numbers are so limited if you don’t think you’ll make it please let me know ASAP so I can offer your place to someone else.

Please register your interest by sending me a message with number of adults, children (&ages) and which session you’d be interested in (Friday am/pm Saturday am/pm). The session will be £5 per child. Once everything is confirmed I will confirm your session space via messenger!
