I admit it does, but let me explain...
Let's call your brain Becky...
Every time a negative, or intrusive thought pops up in your mind, address Becky.
"Becky, honey, I love you to bits, you know that, but I can't be doing with your negativity today."
"I appreciate your opinion but not today."
Ask her for her reasoning. Why is she sharing such a thought? What is the benefit of it? Is there any?
"Why not mind your own business, Becky?"
Give it a go!
Don't let Becky steal your shine just because she woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
