*AUTO-ENROLMENT OF FREE SCHOOL MEALS*

Yesterday I announced the auto-enrolment of free school meals which was both professionally and personally significant to me.

The scheme will provide meals for children who are entitled to free school meals, but currently not claiming free school meals.

Whilst on a walkabout with Selective Landlord Licensing and MBC Environmental Team Thursday 21st March 2024, a resident alerted me to a skip which had been in the alley for a number of months. I made a call to the skip company and arranged collection of the skip this morning. Before and after photos attached. Please let me know if you have any issues in North Ormesby and I will try to resolve as quickly as I did this one.

Have been out and about doing walkabout this morning, have helped resident fill out funding form for alley makeover in Grove Road. Spoken to numerous residents regarding personal issues that they have. Please could I ask residents to contact me directly their issues (personal or otherwise,)that way I get the full information needed to help resolve issues.

***UPDATE***

There is an evening outreach scheduled for Tuesday 12th March where the Neighbourhood Safety Officer, our Neighbourhood PCSOs and myself will be out in the area, engaging with the community and addressing any issues that arise. Future outreach will be ongoing over the spring and summer months. Dates will be publicised in North Ormesby Hub and on my page closer to the time.
