It's fantastic to see our wellbeing boxes project attracting attention π
π₯ It was great to see BBC Devon at Devon Carers at Westbank today learning more about the Wellbeing Boxes project, funded by Open Up and delivered in partnership with Devon Partnership NHS Trust and Devon Carers.
The project has provided 100 Wellbeing Boxes to unpaid carers across Devon, recognising the vital role they play and reminding them that their own wellbeing matters too.
π€ The project is also helping us better understand carers' experiences and the support they need, ensuring their voices are heard.

𧡠Something special is happening in Moretonhampstead.
Thread Brothers, delivered in partnership with Wellmoor, is bringing men together in a way that feels natural, relaxed and genuinely enjoyable. No pressure, no expectations, just learning a new skill, spending time together and building confidence along the way.
In just a few weeks, the group has already created their first project, handmade tote bags. Simple, practical and something to be proud of π
Funded by Open Up, this project is all about finding new ways to support mental wellbeing, especially for those who might not connect with traditional services.

𧡠We're delighted to be supporting Thread Brothers through funding from Open Up.
This fantastic initiative brings men together to learn new skills, build confidence, connect with others and support their wellbeing in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
It's wonderful to see the group's first project completed and we look forward to following their journey over the coming months.
A huge well done to everyone involved, including the team at Wellmoor and Tony for making it such a success. π

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the The Great West Run in Exeter last Sunday in support of Open UpπββοΈπ
One of our amazing runners, Tim, completed the 10K in just over an hour and shared this about the day:
βIt was hotter and hillier than I have been used to in training, so was pleased to see lots of people out there with hoses and thankful for all the water stations.β
Amazing effort Tim and thank you again to all of our runners for your incredible supportπ
Inspired to take on a challenge for Open Up yourself? We still have places available for the Exeter 5K Inflatable.
