Salad day!
I love making up our mixed leaves, herbs and edible flowers salad bags. I bagged up retail bags for our Honesty shop, Springwater Farm , and Heather Rhodes and also huge catering bags for PORTAL PİZZA to serve in their cafe at Central Station.
This week it's a mix of four different lettuce leaves, mallow leaves, nasturtium leaves, baby spinach leaves, marjoram, basil, dill flowers, marigold flowers, nasturtium flowers and some chive and chicory flowers.
The summer glut of courgettes has arrived!
I used to just griddle cook slices of courgette, but this year I've started mixing it up a bit -
🥒Ricotta stuffed courgette flowers
🥒Quinoa and roasted veg stuff globe courgette
🥒Grated raw courgette in a summer 'slaw
🥒Slices soaked in curry paste then baked
🥒Courgette cake
