PRIME

We have been delighted to have PRIME in residency this week to develop work with Steinvor Palsson. Many of the great creative encounters PRIME has enjoyed have been the teaching and choreography of Steinvor who in turn loves working with the company.

With that in mind we are inviting Steinvor to be the first in a specially selected line-up of choreographers who will lead, teach and make work on PRIME through each season until Summer 2020. In creative partnership with PRIMEs founder and the Dance Base team, Steinvor will teach the company and make new dances we will all enjoy.

This term we invite you to enjoy a day with us as part of the Luminate Festival.

Join us in the beautiful Dance Base studios in a gentle, enjoyable class designed for mature bodies, or join a mat class of easy Pilates exercises.

Later on there will be an informal gathering, to chat about how moving makes the ageing process progress with ease and joy.

Then we invite you to a live performance from our repertoire. Outside the studio, there will be a silent auction throughout the day featuring signed copies of beautiful books and other donated treats – closing after the performance.
