Weโ€™re proud to recognise some fantastic members of our Lanarkshire team ๐Ÿ’œ

โœจ David & Kerry
We received a lovely compliment recognising David and Kerry for the support they provided during a difficult situation, helping a service user return to their care home following a failed discharge. Their compassion and willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed, thank you both.

โœจ Terry
After an incredible 18 years with us, Terry retired on 9th May. Thank you for your dedication, hard work and care over the years, youโ€™ve made such a difference to so many lives. Wishing you all the very best in your retirement ๐Ÿ’

โœจ Laura
Laura truly goes above and beyond for the people she supports. From accompanying a service user to appointments, even A&E following a fall, to helping care for her guinea pigs, Lauraโ€™s kindness and commitment shine through. The trust she has built is clear, and it makes a real difference ๐Ÿ’œ

โœจ Mary
Mary was recognised for her quick thinking and compassion when she noticed something wasnโ€™t right with a service user. She ensured they received medical attention and stayed with them until the ambulance arrived. An excellent example of putting people first. Well done, Mary ๐Ÿ’œ

Thank you to all of our amazing Lanarkshire Care Assistants for the care, professionalism and kindness you show every single day!

A celebration of success ๐ŸŽ‰

Last week, we hosted a conference bringing together representatives from each department to reflect on our achievements and share our plans for the year ahead.

As part of the day, we also took time to recognise some of our Service Managers who have worked tirelessly in recent years to ensure their services continue to deliver the highest standards of care for both our service users and teams.

Congratulations to our award winners:
๐Ÿ† Lesley, Inverclyde Service Manager โ€“ Quality Management Award
๐Ÿ† Amanda, West of Scotland Service Manager โ€“ Trusted Person Award
๐Ÿ† Pamela, Ailsa Care Service Manager โ€“ Managing Growth Award
๐Ÿ† Lindsay, Dundee Service Manager โ€“ Team Player Award
๐Ÿ† Veronica, Edinburgh North Service Manager โ€“ Outstanding Leadership Award

It was a great opportunity to come together, celebrate these achievements, and recognise the incredible work happening across our services. Weโ€™re excited to build on this momentum as we look ahead to the year to come! โœจ

Congratulations to our FINALISTS โœจ๐Ÿ’œ

Last week we had a fantastic time celebrating our two finalists at the Scottish Care at Home Awards.

A huge well done to our Operations Director (West), Mark, on being shortlisted as a finalist for the Leadership Award, and to our West of Scotland Coordinator, Susan, for making it to the finals of the Positive Impact Award, a fantastic achievement for both and so well deserved!

๐Ÿ’ญ Sharing his thoughts on the nomination, Mark said:
โ€œBeing named a finalist at the Scottish Care Awards is a real honour, but itโ€™s not something I see as an individual achievement. For me, this nomination reflects the incredible dedication, resilience and compassion shown by teams across the West of Scotland over the past three and a half years.
Iโ€™ve had the privilege of working alongside truly committed people who go above and beyond every day to support others, often in the most challenging of circumstances. This recognition belongs to all of them just as much as it does to me, and Iโ€™m very proud to be part of such an inspiring community.โ€
