After the hiccup on Saturday with Pippa starting on the key but no stopping, we’re very pleased to say… SHE STOPS TOO!! 😃

Pippa is finally out on the tracks! This is her first run around the tracks, on her own, in 11 years! This restoration is moving along nicely thanks to the dedication of the volunteers! 😃

There’s been lots more activity for Pippa. Her throttle cable has been attached and tested and she’s looking and sounding fab!

More work has been going on with our Pippa and she’s now sporting a cab with control panel. The next stage is electrics. She’s really taking shape - we’re getting closer to her being rail ready!

More progress yesterday for Pippa. The team worked to attach a floor to the cab and get that painted. It’s all looking good and was great to push her outside the workshop for her photo call.

Pippa is moving along nicely and starting to really take shape! Our volunteer made progress by attaching the bonnet on a hinge, along with a k**b to make it easier to access the engine. Great idea!

There was more activity at the railway this weekend as our volunteers continued the work on Pippa! Yesterday the belt and chains were secured after a bit of fiddling with the gear box mount and engine to move just millimetres to get everything working. Once that was done, the engine was turned on again. The sight of the belt and chains moving was fantastic!
