I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I welcome to my first clients through the doors of Maygate Studio! And what a year it has been!🥰

I thought it might be time to re-introduce myself to everyone, especially since I’m not always in studio to meet face-to-face.

I am Heather Snowie - Makeup Artist, a freelance makeup artist of over 25 years, hobby pottery maker and owner of !
I am originally from Toronto Canada, but am about to celebrate my 10 years anniversary of moving to Scotland on the 17th of March! (so many milestones this time of year! 😄)
In addition to being a personal makeup artist for weddings and makeup lessons, I can also be found onset filming commercials, on editorial shoot and even getting actors red carpet ready for their film premiers. Variety is the spice of life after all!

My preferred makeup style is a more natural one, ranging from “no makeup makeup” to soft glam, and though I cater to and welcome all ages, my passion is for those of us who remember the 80’s. A lot is changing ladies and I’m here to help guide you through! 😉
