Happy New Year!
We're back! And with Alex Cutts joining the coaching team at the end of last year, we're bigger and better. With more opportunities to get on court, improve your Squash skills and have fun with friends.

🎉 World Squash Day 🏆
Tomorrow we celebrate the sport we love – its energy, its community, and the lifelong friendships it creates. 🫶
But today our anticipation of this celebration is mixed with sadness as news has reached us here at Squash Roots of the closure of Woodfield Squash and Leisure place that’s meant so much to so many, including our Head Coach Phil Barker who was welcomed with open arms by the club when he first moved to Doncaster. Our thoughts are with everyone who called it home. Thank you for the memories, the matches, and the heart you brought to the game. 💔
At Squash Roots @ The Dome, we’d be honoured to welcome any displaced players — juniors, adults, and anyone just wanting to stay connected to the game. Our doors (and courts) are open to all 😀

Tough match against a strong Fulwood team for our adults last night in the Sheffield and District League
2:2 in matches but lost overall.
Rob won 3.2
Phil won 3.2
Andy lost 3.0
Carl lost 3.1

Week 4 highlights.
Today in the 4-5pm we focused on movement, catching and holding the racket. All the kids are working really hard and coming along massively each and every week.
The 5-6pm session focused on having a nice solid grip and swing path when hitting their shots. They are improving each and every week and you can already see the leaps in progress.
Well done everyone today can't wait for our session next week 😀

Did you know we also have an adult league team?
Last night saw the inaugural fixture for the Squash Roots Dome team in the Sheffield and District League.
We faced our city rivals Doncaster Squash Club and came out victorious in a thrilling 4 matches at the hallowed Doncaster Dome Leisure Centre
Next fixture is away on Monday against another Doncaster club in the shape of Woodfield Squash
