GrantEdge.ai was created to help organisations navigate a funding system that can often feel overwhelming and unfair. This year has been about listening, learning, and laying strong foundations alongside charities and community organisations across Northern Ireland.

Looking ahead, there are exciting things to come in 2026 with our pilot. Working closely with a small group of organisations, we will test, learn, and refine GrantEdge in real-world settings.

The community sector has faced many challenges in recent years, from the pandemic to the cost-of-living crisis, yet continues to deliver vital services under increasing pressure. Digital innovation can transform how these organisations operate, but without the right skills and resources, many risk being left behind.

Through grants of £5,000–£10,000 for up to two years, this fund will support projects that drive meaningful change.

💙 This week at GrantEdge.ai we spent time catching up with some incredible local charities and hearing firsthand about their ongoing struggles to access funding.

I was especially moved to speak with Clare from Pulmonary Fibrosis NI, who works tirelessly to support people affected by this cruel illness. Clare has also written this beautiful children’s book, Pete the Puffling’s Brave Adventure, to help young readers understand what Pulmonary Fibrosis means for loved ones.

Stories like Clare’s remind us why we do what we do at GrantEdge — building technology that makes it easier for charities to focus on helping people rather than fighting through endless funding barriers.
