Model Mutts Canine Behaviour

Another session with lovely Lexie, working on sound sensitivity and confidence around a new baby!

Buddy and Daisy have COMPLETED their reactivity sessions! Buddy in particular has been very nervous around dogs out on walks, we have now built up his confidence and given his owners the tools to allow him to exist around other dogs happily.

In areas that he still struggles, we have taught Buddy how to communicate that he needs space and his owners have been amazing at respecting this!

Progress with reactive dogs isn’t always linear, but Buddy has come so so far!

Managed to get him very engaged, ready for next steps of introducing some dogs!

Beautiful Freya had her second session with me, working on strengthening real-world skills!

We worked in and around a shopping centre, where we focused on learning Freya’s signals when she’d had enough and how to keep focus and engagement around distractions.

She absolutely smashed it out of the park, i am so proud of her!

I have been working with gorgeous Rex for about a month or so, we are a few sessions in and are really building up his confidence around new people as well as building up some better habits around the doorbell!

Rex is a rescue boy who has been in many homes, but has struck gold with his current owners, who are so understanding, patient and dedicated to him.

I’m looking forward to further being a part of Rex’s journey!

Just completed a wonderful session with Rosie! Today we worked hard on her confidence getting in the car. This session was absolutely amazing, Rosie got so much further than we thought.

We used low-pressure, trust building exercises, which focused on giving Rosie choice in the activity, which helped her feel comforted and happy.

Massive well done to her owner for all her hard work, I am so pleased with Rosie’s progress!
