My personal opinion: it's fresh and citrusy and not too sweet. The perfect blend of masculine and feminine. If you know the Joe malone lime basil and mandarin to me it's a little similar to that. 🌿🌿

I always talk a lot about SPF and ageing skin over in my private community, but this week is Sun awareness week, so Im bringing it to you here, too! 🌞

The biggest tip I can give anyone when it comes to looking after their skin is to protect it from the sun. If you are looking for the best anti-ageing product out there, the chances are you already have it in your bathroom because the best anti ageing product on the market, hands down, is SPF!!

So let's talk about why it's so important to protect your skin from the sun and also about the different types of UV rays.

⚡️UVA rays can pe*****te through glass and are present all year round. You can't feel or see them, but are the rays associated with ageing. In fact, 80% of the early signs of ageing are caused by daily sun exposure, even on cloudy days. UVA rays can pe*****te deep into your skins dermis, attacking the proteins that support things like collagen and elastin, the things that are keeping your skin healthy and youthful looking.
To protect your skin from ageing, add a factor 50 into your daily skincare ritual. I recommend our tinted skin shade or facial primer Sun Day!

🔥 UVB rays are associated with burning. They are what you feel on your skin when you sit in the sun and can contribute to skin damage and/or skin cancer over time. Apply sunscreen all over your body before sun exposure, and always use a factor 50 or above.

⚠️ As much as those of us with pale skin like to get a tan in the summer months, there's actually no such thing as a healthy tan. Your skin goes darker because your body produces more melanin as an emergency response to sun damage and to protect your skin - so do always wear sun protection and it's really important to have a broad spectrum spf in your routine too (Something that protects you from both UVA and UVB rays).
