Mongol Rally

One month and one week on the road for the Mongol Rally 2025. Lots of this now dusty gaggle are still spread across Central Asia, whilst the first finishers have made it over the line. Those that have yet to complete the Rally, have only few days left to do so.

Over 20 teams have already reached the Pink Palace in Oeskemen and crossed the official Finish Line. It's no mean feat to drive across thousands of miles of the planet's most formidable terrain in a car engineered for popping to the shops, so we extend our hearty congratulations to those that have made it so far. Teams featured here have mostly been selected based on their mastery of balancing, ideas and decals: Team 2Fast 2Trash, Team Happy Hour Discovery Coalition, The Rusty Chariot, Team Arfly Racing - Cyberpandino, Team Klapa enGINE promoting having no borders at all (we heartily agree) and Team Watchful Eyes.

Breakdowns and undercarriage woes continue on relentlessly as the roads and non-roads of Central Asia take their toll. But the teams still on the road have no choice but to keep buggering on. Team Gobi or Go Home are taking it in their stride, seen here cooling off on the Pamir Highway before a thorough investigation of their brake and fuel lines which are generously "holding strong." Always beneficial at altitude.
