Today was vet day for one of our leopard geckos and the bearded dragon we took in last night

Sadly, the bearded dragon didn’t make it. He was suffering from MBD, gout and suspected tumours. After examining him, the vet felt that euthanasia was the kindest and most compassionate option to prevent any further suffering. It is always the hardest part of running a rescue. A huge thank you to Frank, who helps me out here the rescue, for collecting him, making him comfortable and caring for him until we could meet at the vets 🙏

Our leopard gecko is still having some problems with their eyes, so both eyes were cleaned today. We are now on pain relief and will continue with eye drops over the next few weeks. We are keeping everything crossed for a good recovery🤞

Always nice to see a corn snake find a great home. I have more of them in than any other reptile at the moment!

A few months ago, I rescued this bearded dragon after she had been left in a terrible condition🤦‍♂️ Swipe to see what she looked like when I first took her in..

I’m so happy to say she’s now been adopted by Charli who’s done an incredible job and is now she is absolutely thriving! Seeing an animal go from such a terrible situation to a loving forever home is one of the most rewarding parts of rescue🙌

Maurice is a 5 year old Crested Gecko who is looking for a new home! He’s a picky eater haha but is lovely to handle and super active💪

This little leopard gecko come in today. Thanks to Amicus vets for sorting some eye drops out quickly for her even though they’re full. We will be back for another consultation too to rule anything else out 🤞

I’m sure she will make a good turnaround. She’s very active and alert
