Our sculptural works Tejidos Vegetales Nº12, Tejido Coral, and Humedal Nº6 weave a dialogue between body, landscape, and memory. Each piece grows within an ecosystem — a living fabric shaped by water, migration, and transformation.
Rooted in the traditional use of vegetable fibers native to Peru’s wetlands, these works explore the continuous exchange between organic systems and cultural practices. Reed and totora, gathered from the Huacho wetlands on Peru’s Pacific coast, are naturally sun-dried and bundled for weaving. Each project brings together designers, artists, and expert weavers.

We’re proud to share RF Studio’s latest project: a residential extension for Yayasan Bali Purnati (The Bali Purnati Center for the Arts), one of Bali’s leading cultural foundations. Since 2000, it has welcomed artists from around the world, becoming a hub for experimentation and dialogue. The new complex strengthens this mission by supporting residencies and performances.
Built with local materials—salvaged wood, bamboo, volcanic stone, terracotta—the design adapts to the terrain, weaves around trees, and opens to rice fields. Crafted with local artisans, interiors feature custom furniture and fixtures made for the site.
Conceived as both a stage for creation and the everyday performances of life, the project points to a quieter, more sustainable path for Bali, where tradition and modernity remain in conversation.
