भालेले आफ्नो प्वाँख फैलाएर पोथीलाई आफू प्रजननका लागि तयार भएको संकेत दिन्छ। पोथी नजिक आउन थालेपछि भालेले नाच्दै पखेंटाको टुप्पोका आँखा-जस्ता धब्बा झन झन फैलाउँदै, देखाउँदै जान्छ । पोथीहरू सम्भावित जोडीको अवलोकन गर्न घुमीघुमी हेर्ने गर्छन्। अनेक कोणबाट भालेको शरिरका अंग नियाल्छन । कहिलेकाहिँ भालेले थाह नपाओस भनेर कतै झाडिबाट लुकी लुकी पनि हेर्छन । ताकी पोथीहरुले मलाई महत्व दिए, चाख राखे भन्ने भालेलाई तुरुन्तै हेक्का नहोस ।
