Which of these 3 dishes would you try first? 👇

We recently sat down at the exclusive Amatara x Tatler Thailand Longevity Table , where Chef Mit redefined luxury dining by turning gastronomy into cellular medicine:

1️⃣ Gaeng Liang Nam Tao: A traditional Thai healing soup reimagined, featuring pristine local mantis shrimp wrapped in vegetable ribbons and crowned with caviar swimming in a velvety herbal pumpkin consommé.

2️⃣ Phuket Seven-Color Lobster: A stunning main course. Packed with super-antioxidant astaxanthin, paired with fiber-rich brown rice for gut health, and finished with an anti-inflammatory turmeric-infused broth.

3️⃣ Durian Fak Thong: A playful dessert combining nutrient-dense local pumpkin and naturally creamy durian ice cream, designed for optimal digestion.

✨ Fine dining is no longer about mindless excess. It has evolved into a harmonious blend of science and ancient philosophy, where local and seasonal products are the main drivers. Discover more about this culinary revolution via the link in our bio. 🔗

Today, I treated myself to lunch at .th in Kathu. I happened to be in the neighborhood for work, so I figured I’d make the most of being in the area.

This was my second or third visit, and this time I went for one of their monthly specials: Adamai Miso Sosu.

The fish was almost raw in the center with an incredibly crispy skin. The sauce was the interesting part. Creamy in texture and pale in color, it almost resembled condensed milk. Visually and texturally, it was unexpected. Flavor-wise, it balanced sweetness with citrus notes and a slight saltiness from the miso.

I also tried the Salmon Zuke Ikura Handroll and the Shiromi Handroll. Fair warning, handrolls here can be a little challenging to eat gracefully. Maybe not the ideal date spot… unless you enjoy laughing at each other while attempting to survive your rolls.

Last was the Uni Handroll, which unfortunately disappointed me. The uni had a slightly metallic taste, possibly a lower grade than what I’m used to, and it affected the overall experience.

Overall, it’s still a nice spot for lunch or dinner. My advice is to stick to the lower to mid-range items, as I’m not convinced the premium selections justify the extra price.

If you saw my last post about , you already know the drinks and jazz vibes 🎷🎶here are top-tier. But now, let’s have a look in regards of the food because the kitchen completely matches the energy of the bar.

The culinary team is led by the renowned Chef Chet Adkin, the mastermind who played an essential role in launching JUA, Charoen Krung’s famous and hip izakaya in Charoen Krung, Bangkok. You can expect creative flavors that pair perfectly with your cocktails 🥂🍽️

Here is what I have been enjoying so far:

🥗 Caesar Salad THB 360++ the best I have had in ages. Crisp romaine with just enough creamy dressing and a punch of garlicky briny anchovy flavor. The bacon and croutons are perfect crunch.

🍝 Lobster Linguine THB 690++ garlic lovers this one is for you. Glossy white wine garlicky sauce, plump lobster and a bright finish that will have you reaching for another bite.

🐟 Tuna Carpaccio THB 490++ razor thin slices citrus capers and Sicilian olive oil. The crushed pistachios on top are unexpected and brilliant.

🍗 Chicken Wings THB 360++ textbook perfect. Pro tip: ask for extra buffalo sauce if you love that tangy kick.

🍝 Rolled Lasagna THB 450++ fresh basil, creamy ricotta and rich pork cheek ragu. That is so fu***ng good.

Look, don’t just take my word for it. Head over there and see for yourself.

I have been keeping this place for myself for too long. is that spot under the radar in Cherngtalay.
Look, Cherngtalay might not be the first place that comes to mind when you think of live music, and even less so for a serious jazz night. We all know about Michelangelo’s Bar and Bebop in Old Town, but the truth is, we have it all right here now. There is absolutely no need to drive all the way into Phuket Town for a proper jazz night anymore. So yeah, Moonshine is kind of a big deal.

Thanks Gabriel for bringing this vibe to Phuket. If you love great music, top-tier drinks and a proper hidden-gem atmosphere, this is your spot.

🍹Lets’ start with the Signature Cocktails

🍍Pineapple Boulevard: Plantation pineapple rum and Nusa Cana coconut rum with falernum and fresh citrus. Tropical, bright and dangerously easy to drink.

🥜Peanut Bliss: sounds wild but trust me. Peanut butter washed Wild Turkey bourbon shaken with mango Angostura and chocolate bitters. Rich, complex and totally brilliant.

☕Noir Espresso: forget your basic espresso martini. Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver Tequila coffee liqueur salted caramel and fresh coffee. Perfect salty sweet edge.

🥃Obsidian Negroni: a moody twist on a classic. Whiskey house coffee infused vermouth and Campari. Intense, bitter and perfect for a jazz night.

🍒Averna Affair: Bulldog gin Amaro Averna cherry and fresh lime. Herbaceous, bittersweet and incredibly refreshing.

Stay tuned for Part 2 where I break down the food menu (spoiler: it’s incredible).
