“Play long enough in the mountains and you’ll have your own stories too…”

I’ve been a bit quiet about this the past weeks as I’ve been processing information about my ankle and making big decisions with my team.

In the end, a ruptured post tib tendon, torn ligaments and a cracked bone in my ankle meant pretty big surgery yesterday.

The real heros and the team at have been incredible; supporting me with love and kindness at every step of the process. I’ve been totally overwhelmed with love from my Chamfam and truly feeling surrounded by constant light and love so despite the loss and pain I’m feeling, life feels very beautiful too ❤️

Recovery will be long and tough but I know I have everything it takes. I’m curious about the new journey, the lessons I’ll take with me and the people I’ll get to connect with along the way.

My surgeon shook a bet with me that I’d be back racing in some months if I work really hard at the rehab 🤝 but for now I’m embracing the slow life (and taking up pétanque as my Spring sport)

Book reccos and pétanque teammate are welcome ❤️

Not good, not bad, it just is 😌

After making a tough call to withdraw from CCC last week due to a lingering knee thing (that darn MCL tear in winter) I’ve been digging into some zen thinking and reading.

It’s not bad luck, it’s not unfortunate, it’s just that the season is different than I thought it would be.

Letting go of the path we imagined and wanted isn’t easy but it can lead to new and exciting adventures too. I’ve got a sparkle in my eye for the next big things ahead, whatever those are!

And after texting with about withdrawing we both agreed that life’s too short to be bummed for too long 🥳 thanks to David and for the endless support!

I’ll be the little but loud and psyched girl bouncing around and cheering everyone on this year!!
