As we conclude 2025 this evening and embrace the year 2026, I extend my warmest wishes to all students, teachers, parents, school management, and education stakeholders across Fiji.

With the blessings of our good Lord Almighty, I am confident that this new year will bring renewed hope, more learning opportunities, and the promises of success for our students and teachers.

To our students, you are the future of our nation. May the 2026 academic year inspire you to achieve your dreams, work hard, and believe in your abilities while embracing discipline, and resilience.

To our Heads of Schools and teachers, I convey my heartfelt gratitude for your dedication and commitment to the teaching fraternity. Vinaka vakalevu na vosota tiko vakadede .

To our parents, well- wishers and school management committees, thank you for being our partners in education. Your support, perseverance, commitment plays a crucial role in your children’s success.

As the Minister for Education, I assure you all that we remain committed to strengthening the quality of education, improving learning outcomes, and ensuring better productivity in the education sector of Fiji.

I urge you all to continue to work together in unity, respect, and shared purpose to build a brighter future for the children of our beloved nation.

If there is a message I can ask us all to ponder on and commit for the new year - it is to extend love and grace to all mankind and protect and nurture all living things.

Our nation and our world can only be better when we all recognised the role we play in our community and for mankind.
