Updates from Ruko! 🤎🦒 This week’s highlights include a giraffe and a couple of curious ostriches wandering right through the Headquarters.

It’s photos like this that remind us how special Ruko Conservancy is — a place where people and wildlife live side by side. Here, neighbours come with long necks and feathered legs. 🌿✨

In our last post, we highlighted the challenge of the Mombasa Highway cutting through the Athi Kapiti Plains. This video serves as a reminder of how concerning this is for giraffes and all wildlife. Every year, fast-moving trucks claim the lives of many animals crossing this road. 🚛💔 Together with our dedicated partners, we’re working tirelessly to find solutions and protect these incredible creatures. 🦒💚
