Role Description

The Cloud Service Sales Engineer is a full-time on-site role located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The role involves managing technical discussions with prospective clients, conducting product demonstrations, and providing pre-sales technical support. The Sales Engineer will bridge the gap between technical solutions and customer requirements to help drive successful sales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
✓ Prospect for new business leads through multiple channels (cold outreach, networking, referrals)
✓ Qualify and prioritize leads for maximum sales potential
✓ Develop & execute targeted sales strategies for cloud solutions
✓ Conduct product demonstrations and negotiate contracts
✓ Provide exceptional post-sale support including client onboarding
✓ Prepare invoices, follow payments, and reconcile with bank statements
✓ Maintain and update CRM with accurate sales data
✓ Collaborate with our technical team to ensure seamless customer experience

What we are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of sales/business development experience (technology industry preferred)
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales automation tools
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service

Position Details

• Location: Mexico Square, ALTA Building, 2nd Floor, Addis Ababa
• Working Hours: Monday-Friday (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM), Saturday (8:30 AM - 12:00 PM)
• Employment Type: Full-time
