To Ethiopian office of the prime minister, we the people of Somali state are hereby requesting u to allows us to be an equal Ethiopia citizens or publicly announce that we are a foreign tenants in eastern Ethiopia who are supposed to be treated differently by the landlords. as some may even believe.

Citizenship is the common thread that connects all Ethiopian people equally. We are a nation bound not by race or religion, but by the shared values of freedom, liberty, and equality as verbally written in Ethiopia constitution but practically not respected and followed.

Fundamental rights apply universally to all citizens, irrespective of ethnicity, birthplace, religion, caste or gender.

it’s unfair to the people of Somali state are selectively obliged to fulfill so many requirements to obtain Ethiopian passport and all citizenship identifications unlike other ethnic groups.by the immigration department. Any citizen has a mandatory right to exercise in his county, first and foremost is the citizenship which proves that the person is a citizen of the country.

In fact, in every resistance that took place in the universe was the consequences of treatment to citizens by the government, So far the somalis are not allowed to be Ethiopian, thus they have all right to resist and reject the colonization in Ethiopia through any possible means.

Every year hundreds if not thousands of somali nationals lost their lives due to lack of proper medical treatments, simply because they can’t get passport in time to travel abroad,hundreds more don’t make Haj (pilgrimage) every and lose thousands of birr by spending months in jigjiga, Dire Dawa and Addis Ababa hotels, most of them are senior citizens.

We understand the implementation of the law and immigration policies but We believe Somalis Face another unwritten law and policy from lower and higher level officials of the respected office.

Therefore we are demanding equal rights, equal treatments, equal respect, equal protection under the law and receiving equal basic services of of our country.
